1. About the Service
Pass Red Seal Exam is an independent online study platform that helps Canadian tradespeople prepare for Red Seal interprovincial certification exams through practice lessons, weak-area review, readiness tracking, and mock exams.
The Service is a private study tool. We do not issue certificates, licences, or official Red Seal designation.
2. No affiliation with Red Seal Canada
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Red Seal Canada, the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA), or any provincial or territorial apprenticeship authority.
Red Seal is a registered trademark used here only to describe the type of exam preparation offered. Official exam policies, scheduling, and certification are governed by your provincial or territorial apprenticeship body.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use the Service.
One person per account. You may not share login credentials or resell access without our written permission.
4. Trade access and payments
Access to trade content is sold as time-limited passes (for example, 4 weeks, 3 months, or 6 months) per trade. Your access window begins at purchase and expires at the end of the selected duration.
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms where applicable.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy (https://passredsealexam.ca/refund-policy), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
5. Study content
Practice questions, explanations, and curriculum structure are original content based on publicly available National Occupational Analysis (NOA) and Red Seal Occupational Standard (RSOS) documents. They are not copies of actual interprovincial exam questions.
We continuously improve content but do not guarantee that every question is error-free. Report issues through support so we can review and correct them.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
•
Copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell Service content without permission.
•
Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the platform.
•
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
•
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.
•
Share account access with others or publish answer keys publicly.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, question banks, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Your purchase grants a personal, non-transferable, limited licence to use the content for your own exam preparation during your access window.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that you will pass your Red Seal exam, achieve a specific score, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Exam content, pass marks, and policies are set by official authorities and may change. You are responsible for confirming exam requirements with your apprenticeship body.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost wages, exam fees, or certification delays.
Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the trade access giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to access paid content ends, subject to any statutory rights you may have.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that province, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
